BALANCE BETWEEN MIND & BODY
RELAXATION & RECOVERY
Hatha Yoga focuses on alignment, posture, strength, flexibility, and breath.
Hatha is suitable for students of all levels and styles, previous experience is beneficial but definitely not essential for you to attend. Beginners often find these classes easy to follow and it doesn’t take long for new students to learn the main poses.
The classes can improve physical health and well-being through a range of asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing) exercises.
Traditional Hatha yoga is the foundation of modern lineages of yoga and is the most common style practised in the west.
Hatha Flow classes ideally suit students with an existing regular yoga practise, but this is not a strict requirement and students do not have to be super bendy or be a fully fledged yogi to attend.
The flow will help with strength, flexibility and guide you towards joining the aspects of physical, spiritual, mental and emotional being together.
Samadhi is the ultimate goal of a yoga practice, this is the most spiritually awakened and enlightened state attained by practising yoga.
All students are encouraged to explore the integral components of yoga such as correct alignment, practising pranayama and meditation to find enlightening moments of self awareness. Students have autonomy and retain full control with how deeply they wish to go into the physical and emotional practice.
Yoga is fundamentally a very intimate journey of self enquiry, it helps us peel away all the layers of our own perceived identity to discover the true self.
Centred around the notion of physical and emotional balance, restorative classes are perfect for students looking to alleviate stress, combat fatigue, or to feel grounded.
The flow is gentle, allowing students to recharge and restore, but energetic enough to leave you feeling refreshed. A great way to embrace the rest of your day or the perfect opportunity to embrace the weekend ahead.
These classes are great for every student, everyone needs some downtime to reconnect with them self. The requirement for students coming to these classes is a willingness to let go, relax, and allow the opportunity to feel great after.
“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”
